History

The Confederation of Construction Specialists (CCS) was founded in 1983 to provide much needed support to a beleaguered community of construction specialist companies whom were suffering gross iniquities and blatant contractual abuse exercised by many main contractors in their trading relationship with specialist contractors.

Through, campaigning, the development of training courses and the sharing of legal and contractual experience, the Confederation of Construction Specialists has supported its members in understanding and responding to contracts and the associated terms and conditions proposed by main contractors. The Confederation of Construction Specialists has always been seeking to create a more level, fair and equitable playing field in contractual relationships.

Training courses are now available for non-members as the Confederation of Construction Specialists pursues the enhancement of contractual relationships throughout the whole of the specialist construction sector.
